The Living Wish Foundation is hosting their first annual night-air Living Wish Christmas Market.
This family event will feel like the old fashioned European style night-air markets with lots of twinkly lights, a bonfire, s’mores, roasted chestnuts, carolers and Christmas music and talented local vendors selling their wares.
Entry fees range between $10 and $20. Each entry fee includes a glass of mulled wine or hot cocoa and an eco-friendly Living Wish shopping bag.
All proceeds from entry fees and vendor registrations will help support the Living Wish Foundation help terminally ill patients re-frame hope and realize their dreams. Their mission is to provide medically supervised and supported end of life wishes to patients in the region who are facing a terminal diagnosis.
Some of the wishes they have granted to date include two weddings, a day at the beach, attending Gulley Fest, a Lobster Dinner, Virtual Goodbyes, a Visit with Dan Marino, a visit to the Wolf Sanctuary and many other wonderful heart-felt wishes. What they have learned is that wishes don’t have to be overly complicated. Sometimes it’s the very simplest thing that can make all of the difference.
