About Furry Friends:
We are a non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to providing shelter and love to abandoned or rescued animals.
We provide care to hundreds of cats and kittens each year. We do not euthanize healthy animals for any reason.
We are a registered charity (#882610124), funded by generous donors and supporters and operated completely by dedicated volunteers.
*We have no trained adoption volunteers on our 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. evening shifts on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, though we welcome anyone who wants to drop-in to drop-off donations for the kitties!
For two weeks every month we also adopt cats and kittens out of PetSmart, 33 Mapleview Drive East, Barrie (see map). Adoptions at PetSmart occur when volunteers are onsite: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
We are still planning to move to to a permanent shelter, built on land Furry Friends owns. With the new space, we will be able to provide top quality support to even more vulnerable animals. Please donate to this important cause.
