Deborah’s experience in Marketing and Advertising spans some 30 years. She started her career in Marketing Research and moved into New Product Development and Product Management with major Canadian manufacturers. She later joined the Leo Burnett Company, one of the biggest advertising agencies in Canada, as an Account Executive on one of their largest packaged goods accounts, Kellogg’s. In 1988, she moved to this area and successfully launched and operated a restaurant and catering company. She sold the business in 1998, and embarked on a new career in Radio Advertising Sales. She has been with Corus Radio for 15 years.

My media marketing experience spans over 15 years. I am also a Georgian College alumni graduate of the Advertising & Marketing program. I have had the pleasure of helping many businesses and organizations reach the next level through radio, some of which I am sure you are familiar with.
James “Lucy” Lewis
My name is Lucy, okay it’s not my given name, let’s just go with it. I was born and raised in a small town in the Newmarket area. As a hockey player, I’ve spent a lot of time in Simcoe County and have seen the growth and changes in the area. I’ve also had the opportunity to travel extensively and see the world from a different perspective. I’m also a ball of positive energy; need an idea, feed me a coffee and pick my brain. I’m a farm kid and come from an entrepreneurial background. Having been raised this way, and playing hockey at an extremely high level, I know what it takes to be successful. There really isn’t too much that separates a successful team and a successful small to medium sized business. I think creatively, plan analytically, and act strategically. I always have the client’s best interest in mind. I believe strong working relationships are built on three pillars; honesty, trust, and hard work. It may sound old fashioned, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I was raised as the youngest of five children in Northern Ontario and found my first solid work in Sudbury in the television industry. Following 12 years of employment in the GTA, I migrated to the South Georgian Bay Area, where I’ve lived for the past 20 years, while raising a family. Small business owners are prominent in my family circle, where dedication and hard work are the essential ingredients to survival and growth. And in particular, every dollar spent on marketing absolutely must pay dividends. Working with and for companies, both large and small, public and private, I have a proven track record in identifying and realizing marketing goals. My greatest satisfaction is derived from the strong relationships developed with clients, working collaboratively and energetically with them to make things happened.
