“Rap is Poetry” Event curated by Barrie’s Poet Laureate, Ty the Poetess on July 26th from 3-5pm.
Midland, Ontario – The Midland Cultural Centre is proud to announce the upcoming event “Rap is Poetry” in partnership with Tyneisha Thomas. The event will take place at the Midland Cultural Centre located at 333 King Street, Midland with doors opening at 2:30pm.
Join us for a day of lyrical magic as local artists showcase the artistry and creativity of rap and hip hop culture and its relation to poetry. Prepare to be moved, inspired, and entertained by their powerful performances. Performances include: poetry, dance, beatboxing and emceein’/ rap. Diverse artist roster all from Simcoe County.
