Build a new career at the Construction Job Fair on May 21
Invest Barrie and the Barrie Construction Association are hosting a Construction Job Fair on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the Allandale Recreation Centre (190 Bayview Drive, Barrie) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This event invites job seekers to learn more about available construction opportunities and make connections with local employers who are hiring. The job fair is an opportunity for those new to the industry and experienced workers alike to explore in-demand roles, network with employers and peers, and take a step toward building or growing a career in construction and construction-related industries.
A representative from the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program will also be at the fair to provide guidance to students aged 16 and older who are interested in apprenticeships in the construction industry.
Entry to the job fair is free and pre-registration is not required. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
