BWG Community Clean-up Day

Community pride and concern for the environment will once again unite Bradford West Gwillimbury residents of all ages during the Town’s annual spring Community Clean-up Day on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Participants are asked to meet at 9:00am at the Bradford and District Memorial Community Centre at 125 Simcoe Rd. From there they will be bussed to this year’s designated areas to do clean-up, then bussed back to the Community Centre afterwards for a thank-you lunch.

Pre-registration is not required. Reflective vests and gloves are provided, and participants should wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together to help make our Town beautiful,” says Manager of Parks and Property, Mike O’Hare. “Students looking to fulfill their community service hours for high school graduation purposes are welcome to participate and can have their credit forms signed at the end of the event.”

High school students who wish to receive volunteer credit must bring their forms to the event to be signed.
