Join us on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Barrie Waterfront – Will Dwyer Park for the First Annual Pet Walk-a-Thon!
Check-in and registration open at 10 AM, with the walk kicking off at 10:30 AM. Get ready for a day full of fun, community spirit, and fundraising — all in support of Samaritan House, a local organization dedicated to helping women and children who have experienced intimate partner and gender-based violence.
By participating, you’re helping us raise vital awareness and essential funds to directly support Samaritan House’s programming, transitional housing, and critical resources — empowering survivors to rebuild their lives safely and with dignity.
🐾 What to Expect on the Big Day:
- A community walk alongside your furry companions
- Face painting for kids
- Pet nail trims by Trooper Pets (by minimum $10 donation)
- Local vendors
- Merchandise for sale from Samaritan House and Pawty Animals
- Swag bags for the first 30 pets to arrive — generously provided by Pawty Animals
- Raffle prizes, including tickets to:
