Celebrating Fashion as Art – ‘A Canvas in Motion’
The Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA) is proud to present Collingwood
Fashion Week 2025, running from Monday, September 22nd to Friday, September 26th. This
week-long celebration of fashion, creativity, and community will transform Downtown Collingwood
into a vibrant runway of style and expression.
Get into your fashion week mode at the Gala Launch Party on Monday, September 22, featuring
great music, fun, engaging entertainment and the best in food and beverages from Prime 79, one of
Downtown Collingwood’s Premier locations. Browse the Silent Auction for the perfect gift – for you
or someone else. Dress in your best and get ready for your close up.
Throughout the week Downtown Collingwood’s boutiques and retailers will host a variety of
engaging experiences, including fashion shows, personal consultations, trunk shows, sip and
shops and more.
The week culminates in a spectacular event at the Historic Gayety Theatre, featuring the legendary
Jeanne Beker, one of Canada’s most iconic fashion and lifestyle voices. The evening includes a
VIP Meet & Greet with Ms Beker, an engaging interview with her exploring fashion as a living canvas
and a reception at Butter Art Gallery, launching the Art Crawl and celebrating local artistry.
This year’s theme, Fashion as Art – A Canvas In Motion… From the Artist to the Wearer, highlights
the creative journey behind every garment and the expressive power of personal style.
Downtown Collingwood is a unique destination that combines refreshing, stylishly smart offerings
in an authentic, evolving environment that people enjoy discovering. The downtown provides a
walkable gathering place with unique shops and specialty dining. It provides an appreciation for
historic preservation while also being trendy and enjoyable to explore.
This year, Collingwood Fashion Week proceeds will be donated to Home Horizon, an organization
serving our youth at risk of homelessness.
