Street Cats Rescue

On May 26th, 2023, Street Cats Rescue was left devastated after a fire compromised their shelter.  Thankfully, all volunteers and cats will be OK, but they’ve lost EVERYTHING.

Street Cats Rescue is a 100% volunteer run, non-profit, no-kill shelter.

They need our help to get the cats the support, food, vet care, and shelter they need.

Right now, they are focused on the welfare of each of the 56 cats in their care, and the best way you can help is by monetary donation so they can buy the supplies needed, as they are needed.

You can send an e-transfer to streetcatsrescue@hotmail.com, or donate online at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/street-cats-cat-rescue-and-adoption-inc/

If you are able to donate physical donations of:

Blankets, litter, bowls, towels, cleaning supplies

You can bring them to the BIG 101 Studios at 1125 Bayfield Street North in Barrie (donations can be placed just inside our front door).

The shelter will be unusable for the foreseeable future, and unfortunately as a tenant that runs off of donations, Street Cats’ insurance will not cover the majority of the required items, nor the vet bills (currently over $16,000).

Every little bit helps!
